Four teams from Montenegro want to play in EUROHOLD Balkan League in the next season. All the requests will be discussed at the board meeting in Sofia next week when the decision will be taken. The teams that would like to be a part of EUROHOLD Balkan League next season are KK Teodo Tivat, KK Mornar Bar, KK Sutjeska and KK Zeta 2011.
KK Teodo already played two seasons in the league and qualified for the 1/4 finals in the last edition of the tournament. KK Mornar played four seasons and reached the Final 4 in 2011 in Kavadarci. This season in Montenegro both teams lost in the semifinals of the local league.
KK Sutjeska is a Montenegro Cup winner from 2013 and also played twice in the league finals - 2012 and 2013. KK Zeta 2011 is the current finalist in the league where they are playing against the champions Buducnost.
The main concern of EUROHOLD Balkan League is that in the previous years there was no TV broadcasting of the games. If this are to be accepted two or three teams in the competition, surely all the games will need to be televised.
From Montenegro there is also a request from Buducnost for the junior team to be registed to play in the Junior Balkan League.
EUROHOLD Balkan League would like also to congratulate all the people in Montenegro for the National holiday!
