Rilski Sportist finished second in a friendly tournament

Rilski Sportist finished second in the friendly tournament in Stara Zagora. In its last game the team from Samokov lost to the hosts Beroe 70-72 and finished with 1 win and 2 defeats. Rilski played without Yordan Bozov, Simeon Iliev and Vernon Taylor who got a rest from their coach.   Rilski had the lead in the first minutes but in the second quarter Beroe went in front and took a 7-point lead in to the break. The lead was exchanged a few times in the second half and with 30 seconds to go Rilski cut its deficit to 1. Beroe however managed to keep its advantage by making free throws in the end.   Ian Chiles had 21 points and 8 rebounds for Rilski. Tony Gugino added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists while Aleksandar Milov and Zlatin Georgiev had 10 points apiece.
