Sigal Prishtina with convincing start at home

KB Sigal Prishtina started convincingly the new season in EUROHOLD Balkan League. In a group B game the team from Prishtina hosted the debutants from KS Vllaznia and won 85-59. The hosts made a great run at the end of the third quarter which was more than enough to get the victory. Next week Sigal will visit KK Mornar while Vllaznia while host Mornar in two weeks time.

The visitors started very well and had the lead in the first five minutes. Then though Sigal scored 8 straight points which put the team up by 5. Until the end of the first quarter they managed to keep their advantage which in the second was increased to 14 points. Vllaznia however played very good last minutes and even cut their deficit to just 4 points before the hosts scored the last 4 of the first half.

With four minutes played in the third quarter Sigal was up by 10 points and then made a superb run of 23-2 which decided the game.

Blerim Mazreku was the top performer for the winners with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Edin Bavcic added 19 points while 14 apiece had Dardan Berisha and Jordan Hulls.

Mirza Sarajlija finished with 14 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds for the visitors while Milos Pajovic had 10 points and 9 rebounds.
