Kozuv started well the new season

KK Kozuv started well the new season in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Gevgelija hosted KK Mornar and won 85-66 to the delight of its fans. The gym was full packed with people who wanted to see this first match and the home team didn′t dissappoint them. In the next round Kozuv will visit SCM U Craiova while Mornar will host Sigal Prishtina.

After the middle of the first quarter Kozuv made an 8-0 run to break the tie. Then the team controlled its lead and after 7-0 in the second quarter the lead increased to 15. Kozuv continued to have the advantage until the break and in the second half the team didn′t allow any let downs. The home side controlled the match and made its fans happy.

Kozuv scored 9 triples compared to 5 by the visitors which gave the hosts a good advantage.

Drasko Albijanic and Vladimir Ivelja scored 16 points apiece for the winners as the first had also 15 rebounds.

For the visitors Glenn Bryant and Marko Perovic had 18 points apiece.
