Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist won its first game of the season

Rilski Sportist started with a win the season in local Bulgarian league. The team from Samokov hosted Spartak Pleven and defeated them 82-69.

It was an even first quarter but in the second Rilski played well and took a 16-point lead. It went up to 21 in the third quarter but in the last one Spartak cut the deficit to just 8. Then quickly the team from Samokov responded and had no problems until the end.

Darin Ivanov was the top scorer for the winners with 14 points. 12 and 10 rebounds had Tony Gugino while Vernon Taylor added 10 points.
