Three in a row for Sigal Prishtina

KB Sigal Prishtina won its third straight game in group B of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The hosted SCM U Craiova in its own gym and won the match 92-76. This leaves Sigal top of the group with 3 wins out of 3 games while this was second defeat in two games for Craiova. In two weeks time Sigal will visit Kozuv in Gevgelija in a derby game for the first place while Craiova will visit Mornar.

The visitors started well and led for most part of the first quarter and at times by 5 points. After ten minutes they went up by 3 points but in the second quarter Sigal bounced back. Shortly before the middle of it the hosts made 7-0 run to go up by 2 points but Andrei responded with a triple. However Sigal managed to re-take the lead and went up by 6 points at the break.

In all third quarter Sigal was leading but Craiova was very close. The difference went down to a point but the visitors couldn′t tie. After 30 minutes the hosts were up by 5 points and then decided the game in the last ten. In two minutes Sigal made 10-0 run which broke the game open and until the end the home team kept the difference.

Top scorer for the winners was once again Dardan Berisha who finished with 27 points as he added also 8 rebounds and 7 assists. 22 points apiece had Aaron McGhee and Blerim Mazreku adding also 10 and 9 rebounds respectively.

Milivoje Bozovic had 22 points and 7 rebounds for Craiova as Nikola Vucurovic added 18 and 8.
