Weekly preview: Three playing days with five games are waiting us

This week in EUROHOLD Balkan League will offer us three playing days. There are five matches scheduled and they are starting to be very very important.

First on Tuesday in group A BC Rilski Sportist will host KB Peja. So far the team from Samokov is the only unbeating in this group but they have played their two matches at home. Both games were hard for Rilski and were won at the end so they will be hoping this time the things will change. Finally the roster is complete with Julian Norfleet back from injury and the hosts will give it all. Peja is leading the group after 3 rounds with 2-1 record and two dramatic wins and one dramatic defeat. The Kosovo team is playing better with each game and rely a lot on its character. Peja has a good enough squad to challenge Rilski in Samokov and the visitors will try to steal the victory.

On the same evening KK Mornar will host SCM U Craiova in group B. The team from Bar has 1-2 record while the Romanians are with two defeats. This match will answer a lot of questions for both teams as the winner will get an important advantage. Mornar is fresh of three straight victories in the local league and will try to continue that run. Craiova on the other side played on Sunday and the recovery will be very important. If the team is well rested and prepared for the game they will have the chance to do something. Zoran Krstanovic is the go to guy for the visitors and his presence under the basket is very important.

On Wednesday KK Teodo is waiting for KK Kumanovo 2009 at home. This will be the first match in Tivat this season and the hosts will look for their first win. They played two good games against Rilski and Peja but lost them both. Now it′s very important to get this first victory otherwise it will become very difficult for Teodo. The visitors on their side are with 1-1 record and are doing well in their local league. They have two of the top players in the competiton with Mandic and Kostoski and they will present the biggest threat for Teodo′s defense.

In group B we are waiting for the big derby game between KK Kozuv and KB Sigal Prishtina. Both teams are undefeated and this encounter should offer us a lot of emotions. Kozuv are very strong inside with their tall players and there′s going to be a big battler with Sigal′s centers. Of course Dardan Berisha is the scoring machine for the visitors while Kozuv relies on more balanced attack. However there is no doubt this is going to be a great game and fun to watch.

The last game for this week is KS Vllaznia - SCM U Craiova. This will be the second one in just three days for the Romanians and it will be important what kind of power left they will have for this battle. The hosts will give their all to win because a defeat will harm their chance of qualifying to the next stage a lot. The same goes for Craiova and the visitors will give all that′s left in them to leave victorious.
