Domestic leagues: Defeats from Kumanovo and Kozuv

The 8th round in Macedonian league was not happy one for both Kumanovo 2009 and Kozuv. The teams lost teheir games in the local league as they played away and couldn′t overcome their hosts.

Kumanovo lost to Rabotnicki 60-69 and surrendered the first position to the same team. The visitors started well and led by 7 points after the first ten minutes and by 3 at the break. After that the hosts overcome the deficit and eventually won the match. Branislav Djekic and Marjan Janeski had 13 points apiece for Kumanovo as Sasa Avramovic added 10.

Kozuv visited Strumica and suffered suprise loss after being beaten 60-66. The hosts won the first three quarters and went up by 11 points which was enough to hold the opponent in the end. Milan Janjusevic had 16 points and 7 rebounds for Kozuv.

After this round Kumanovo is second with 5-2 record while Kozuv is 6th with 3-3.
