Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist lost at home

Rilski Sportist lost at home in the 8th round of Bulgarian league. The team from Samokov played Yambol and was defeated 84-91 after being behind for the whole game. With a 4-3 record Rilski is tied for 4th place in the standings.

Rilski started with 6-2 but Yambol responded with 8-0 run to take the lead. Until the first quarter the visitors stayed ahead and in the second took a 16-point lead. In the second half Rilski managed to cut the deficit to just 4 points but Yambol managed to held on for the victory.

Vernon Taylor and Zlatin Georgiev had 19 points apiece for Rilski as Yordan Bozov added 14. Ian Chiles left the team before the match and they will now look for a new center.
