After a week of break the competition in EUROHOLD Balkan League is about to be restarted. We ended the first half of the First Stage of the tournament and now we continue with the other five rounds.
We start with the game KS Vllaznia - KB Sigal Prishtina in which the hosts will continue to try and get their first win of the competition. Their task however will be very tough as Sigal is coming also to get the victory. The home side will rely on Mirza Sarajlija and Nemanja Gavrancic to lead the others while for the visitors once again Dardan Berisha will be the go to guy and will try to continue with his hot shooting and win another game for Sigal.
The second match on Tuesday sees KK Sutjeska hosting BC Rilski Sportist in Niksic. The home team has two wins in its gym so far and will look to make 3 out of 3. Sutjeska can make a very very big step towards the next round with victory and this is what Nikola Pavlicevic, Nemanja Vranjes and the other will try to do. Rilski on the other side is coming to this contest with three straight defeats - one in EUROHOLD Balkan League and two in the local championship. Surely the confidence in the team is low and the players have to do everything to turn it around. Rilski is missing Ian Chiles who left the team and will have problems under the basket.
Then on Wednesday we have KK Mornar hosting KK Kozuv. The home team made some changes to the roster by adding new players and should enter this game with new hopes. The team from Bar has two wins so far and will rely on its home court to take a third one. Kozuv on the other side is the only undefeated squad this season and they′ll try to keep that tendency. The team from Gevgelija also made some changes and now have Aleksej Nesovic to run the point guard position. What effect that will have, we have to see but for sure we are in for a nice match.
The second match for Wednesday is between KK Kumanovo 2009 and KB Peja. The Macedonians will be eager to take revenge for the dramatic defeat in the first round of the competition. They are on a run of three straight wins after that and will be looking to make it 4 in a row. The team now has Uros Lukovic back and he should change the whole look with his dominant presence under the basket. Peja on the other hand is playing well and always dramatic games. For sure the visitors will give their all and will battle very very hard in order to try and get the win. The management made a few changes to the frontcourt and the task to stop Lukovic will be very very hard. However there′s no doubt the game will be an interesting one and fun to watch.
The last game of this week is on Thursday and is between Teodo and Rilski Sportist. The home side signed a few new players and is trying to change something in order to do better in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Tivat has no wins in Group A and this match is a must for them. If they lose it at 99% they′ll be out so Marko Mijovic and company will give it all. For Rilski Sportist a lot will depend on the game with Sutjeska on Tuesday. It will depend whether the team will be on a run of four straight defeats or will come with a victory. The fatigue will also play a huge part in Rilski′s performance as the team will try to go back with smiles on.
