Great third quarter gives Mornar the win over Sigal

KK Mornar recorded a very good and important away win in group B of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Bar visited KB Sigal Prishtina and performed very well to win 104-91. The decisive moment came in the third quarter when Mornar played great in offense and with good defense managed to build a big advantage. With this result Mornar now has 3 wins and 3 losses and is third in the group while Sigal is still second but now with 4-2 record. 
 
Mornar started very well and scored the first 7 points in the game. The visitors led in the first quarter when both teams were scoring a lot. Sigal made an 8-0 run to take advantage by 1 as later the quarter finished with the score tied. The second started great for the hosts as they scored 7 points in a row and pulled away. However Mornar managed to re-take the lead as 15 straight points put them up by 10. Until the break Sigal cut some of the deficit as it was 4 after 20 minutes.
 
The match was decided in the third quarter when Mornar made its move. The visitors went up by 10 points with four minutes played and later finished the quarter on a 7-0 run. That put them up by 17 points and in the last quarter they had no problems to keep the big lead.
 
It was a high scoring game as the teams made 15 three-pointers apiece.
 
Nikola Korac was the top performer for the winners with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Monty Wilson had a good game with 22 points and Samuel Coleman added 14 and 10 rebounds.
 
For the home team once again Dardan Berisha made the highlights with 31 points. Edin Bavcic finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds while Jordan Hulls added 17 points and 7 assists.
