Weekly preview: We are back with the first games of 2015

EUROHOLD Balkan League is back as this week we′ll see the first games for 2015. We are close to finish the First Stage and the upcoming matches are important for the standings in the two groups.    The only game in Tuesday sees KK Sutjeska hosting KK Kumanovo 2009. The home side is doing well in its first appereance in the league and so far has won all three games in its gym. The team from Niksic will try to make it 4 of 4 which will guarantee them a spot in the next round. Nikola Pavlicevic and Nemanja Vranjes are the leaders of this young roster and they will try to lead them to win. Kumanovo on the other hand will rely on Kostoski, Mandic and Lukovic to start positive the new year. The Macedonians finished it with a home defeat and will have to erase that with good performance.    On Wednesday we start with another group A game which is KK Teodo - KB Peja. The last against the first meet in that contest and the team from Tivat will try to win in order to keep its chances. Teodo has 1-4 record and needs to win each game in order to advance. They can go with two victories as well but a lot will depend on the other results. The hosts have the quality in its roster and will try to use it against the leaders. Peja is the only team with 4 wins in this group and are almost guaranteed to advance. However they will fight for the first place and a win in Tivat will increase a lot the chances. Peja made some changes in the roster and it remains to be seen how the absence of some important figures will affect the team.   In group B KK Mornar is hosting KS Vllaznia and will try to start in a convincing way the new year. The team from Bar is already through to the next stage but willl look to confirm the good impression that they left with the victory in Prishtina. For sure the time for practice has made the team better and the new players have settled in which will help them in this match. Vllaznia on the other hand is now without Nemanja Gavrancic and Milos Pajovic and this will make things difficult for the team. This first season for Vllaznia in a European competition is learning experience and the team from Shkoder has to use each game to watch and learn.   SCM U Craiova is welcoming KB Sigal Prishtina in the last game of Wednesday night. Both teams made a lot of changes to their rosters and this will be the first game we′ll be able to see them. Craiova has only one win for now but the team will play the remaining three games at home and will try to take advantage from that. Sigal on the other side lost almost all chances to finish first after losing to Mornar at home but still will have two important games in which to show its new players and the new coach.   All games will be LIVE on Sportmedia.tv.
