Second win in a row for Teodo

Teodo managed to win second game in a row and that kept the team′s chances of advancing from Group A. At home in Tivat they defeated Peja 78-71 despite not starting the game well. Both teams exchanged good performances in the first two quarters, then the game was even and at the end the hosts built a good enough lead to win. This puts Teodo on a 2-4 record and keeps the hopes of reaching the second stage alive while Peja is now at 4-3 record and is first in the group but with a game more. Next week Peja will host Rilski Sportist while Teodo will visit Kumanovo 2009.A 14-2 run in the first quarter gave Peja a good lead of 14 points and it stayed in double digits after ten minutes. In the second quarter though Teodo bounced back and cut some of the deficit and before the break tied the score. The visitors answered with a triple but the last four points of the first half were for the hosts who went up by 1.
The third quarter was an interesting one with lots of lead changed but in the final two minutes the hosts scored 5 points which gave them 3-point lead coming in to the last ten minutes. Teodo led as well in the final quarter and 7-0 run gave the team a 10-point advantage. Peja managed to close it down to just 4 with little over a minute to play but the hosts hung on and won the match by making the free throws at the end.
Danilo Sibalic was the top scorer for the winners with 19 points while Aleksandar Radulovic added 16.
Drilon Hajrizi had 23 points for the visitors as Luka Petkovic added 15 in his debut.
