Three new players for Peja

KB Peja signed three new players before the start of the second stage of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team added the Americans - Mario Austin, Janou Rubin and Jaleel Nelson and in the same time released Gerti Shima.Mario Austin is the most famous name of the three as he has history in some top teams in Europe. He played two seasons in Hapoel Jerusalem between 2005 and 2007. In his first season he was the second best scorer in ULEB Cup with 19.2 points per game and also had 8.1 rebounds. Then he moved to Benetton and had 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in ULEB Cup and 13.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in Italian league. Then he also played in Besiktas, Alicante, then in China, Ukraine and last in Kuwait.
Jaleel Nelson is well known in Kosovo. He played three seasons ago in Trepca and become champion with the team. After that he was in Uruguay, Chile and last in Columbia.
Janou Rubin is the third new name in the team. The American point guard played last season in Austrian team Furstenfeld and averaged 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the league.
Peja will start the Second Stage in EUROHOLD Balkan League. Tomorrow the team will host KK Mornar in the first round of Group C.
