Weekly preview: We are ready for the start of the Second Stage
02-02-2015 | 14:27
We are ready to start the Second Stage of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Eight teams are left in the competition and they will continue to fight for the trophy in the next almost three months.   We start with the game KK Kozuv - KK Sutjeska from group D. The home team is the only unbeaten so far this season and they′ll look to continue that trend. The team has a new coach from one week in Milos Pejic and he started well. Sutjeska on the other hand qualified for the Top 8 in the last round and the team wil count in Nikola Pavlicevic and Nemanja Vranjes to lead them to 1/4 finals. Kozuv starts the group with 2-0 record while the team from Niskic is with 1-1.   The second game on Tuesday is from group C as KB Peja is hosting KK Mornar. The home team starts with 2-0 record while the visitors are with 1-1 so this match is very important. Peja lost to Sigal Prishtina a week ago in the local league but the team signed three new Americans and they will help in this match. Mornar on the other side is coming to Peja with two straight defeats - one in BIBL and one in Montenegro. The team from Bar will look to show much better performance and try to steal the win.    On Wednesday we have BC Rilski Sportist hosting KB Sigal Prishtina in group D. It′s a very important mach for both teams as a win for Rilski will put the team in very good position while a defeat will make life tougher. Sigal are starting with 0-2 record and the Kosovo champions will look to steal something from that game. Rilski will play with full roster and Sigal is also coming with everybody to this match and will be looking for good performance.   The last game this week is between KK Kumanovo 2009 and SCM U Craiova. The Macedonians are in bad position and start the Second Stage in group C with 0-2 record so it′s a must win match for them. They will look to carry on the form from last week in Samokov and a lot will depend whether Uros Lukovic, who missed that match, will be ready and at 100%. The visitors are on a run of three straight home wins in the competition but this time they play away. Craiova shows better form since the start of 2015 and the team will try to win and improve its chances to qualify even more.   All games will be LIVE on Sportmedia.tv
