Official statement of KB Sigal Prishtina after the game with KK Sutjeska

Yesterday′s match between KK Sutjeska and KB Sigal Prishtina was terminated in the first quarter after several members of the visiting team were injured after a petard was thrown from the stands. Here is the official statement of KB Sigal Prishtina following that incident:
KB SIGAL Prishtina feels sorry for the suspension of last night′s game in Niksic against KK Sutjeska.

KB Sigal Prishtina condemns the attack that was made to our team, which prevented the development of sport and deprived the civilized public from watching a quality match.

Our club has a noble sportive mission which is fully aligned with the vision and mission of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Our goals will always remain good; to benefit the progress of the sport and basketball, but also the creation of sports friendship with all of the EUROHOLD Balkan League clubs. Results and sporting successes should only be achieved with quality work and sportive means.

We would like to thank the EUROHOLD Balkan League management as well as KK Sutjeska′s management for exemplary behavior after the ugly incident of last night.

KB SIGAL Prishtina will continue to respect even more the clubs coming in Pristina to play against our team. KB SIGAL Prishtina aims to be model not only in terms of sports performance management, but also for sportive behavior and education of all members of the club.

The same, perhaps even more, during this time that we are participating in EUROHOLD Balkan League, proved our fans "Plisat" and other numerous supporters of our club.

We will continue to show good games and sportive behavior. Naturally, we aim peaks of success, but with work, accountability and exceptional sportive behavior.

Hard work and hospitality are some of our highest values. We will cultivate even more these values because they are in favor of sport and good intercultural and interethnic relations.
