Domestic cups: Rilski Sportist through to the semifinal

Rilski Sportist is through to the semifinal of Bulgarian cup. In the 1/4 final the team played the hosts Spartak Pleven and had no problems to win 88-66. Tonight in the semifinal they will play Cherno more Port Varna.

Rilski made an 8-0 run to finish the first quarter and went up by 8 points. In the second they made 13-0 run to go up by 22 and in the second half the gap went close to 40 points. That was more than enough for them and in the last ten minutes the difference went down.

Julian Norfleet had 21 points for the winners while Vernon Taylor had 17 and 8 rebounds.
