Domestic cups: Kozuv shocked MZT in their gym and is in the Final!

KK Kozuv is the first finalist of the Macedonian Cup. The team from Gevgelija won the first semifinal against the hosts and current champions and Cup winners - MZT Skopje. Kozuv defeated them 75-74 with a three-pointer by Miladin Pekovic with 0.8 seconds to go.

The game was a good one as Kozuv led by 7 in the second quarter. MZT however reacted and went up by 1 at the break and in the second half both teams continued to fight hard. With 1.23 to play the hosts were up by 4 but Kozuv tied with 30 seconds to play. Then MZT once again took a 2-point led but the great triple by Pekovic shocked them and Kozuv went to the final.

Vladimir Brckov was top scorer for the winners with 14 points. Drasko Albijanic had 13 and 11 rebounds while Miladin Pekovic added 11 points.
