Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist 1-2 down against Balkan

BC Rilski Sportist is now down 1-2 in the semifinal series against Balkan. In Game 3 the team from Samokov lost at home 80-85 and must win the next one in order to bring the series to a decisive fifth game.

Balkan managed to go in front with 6 straight points to finish off the first quarter and never looked back. From that moment on they led until the final buzzer and stopped each Rilski attempt to come back. The hosts managed to close down to 4 points numerous times but Balkan responded and took the win.

Vernon Taylor had 20 points for Rilski as Tony Gugino added 18.
