Domestic leagues: Peja defeated Bashkimi away

KB Peja defeated KB Bashkimi away in the second round of the Kosovo League. The Yellows took a 79-72 victory and are leading the table with 2-0 record. An interesting fact is that the two teams will play once again in Prizren next week in the Opening game of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League.   Peja had a better start to the game and led 28-14 after ten minutes. The visitors were up by 16 at the break which was enough for them as they managed to hold on for the victory.   Ronald Davis was the top scorer for the winners with 22 points as he also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Alban Veseli and Drilon Hajrizi also played well as they finished with 17 points apiece while Veseli also grabbed 9 rebounds.   For the home side Tay Waller had 22 points and 5 assists. Theron Bussey added 18 and 5 while Gerti Shima finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds against his former team.
