Domestic leagues: Great win for Kozuv in the first round

KK Kozuv started the new season in Macedonian championship with impressive victory. The team from Gevgelija hosted the Cup winners Rabotnicki and downed them 88-67 after playing a good match.   At the end of the first period the visitors had a 2-point lead. At the start of the second though Kozuv scored 4 points in a row, took the advantage and had it until the end. At the break the difference was 11 points and after that it never reached single digits.   The newest signing Ratko Varda was the top performer for Kozuv with 22 points and 9 rebounds in only 22 minutes of play. Brandon Penn had 19 points and 11 rebounds as Aleksej Nesovic added 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
