Beroe to debut against the champions

Today will be played the last game of the First Round in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. In Stara Zagora BC Beroe will host the champions KB Sigal Prishtina at 18.00 hrs local time and the match will be broadcast LIVE on BNT World and Sportmedia.tv.   Beroe is going to have a very tough debut in the competition as the team is hosting the champions. The Stara Zagora squad is going to try to make the life of the visitors difficult and it remains to be seen how much they can fight with them. Beroe has build an interesting roster and the head coach Lubo Minchev uses a deep rotation. How much that will help the team and how much they can fight with Sigal it remains to be seen, Beroe had a big loss in the first round of Bulgarian league and the team needs to improve a lot in order to have a chance to win.   Sigal Prishtina on the other hand is coming as the big favourite in this game as the team has build a very good roster. Sigal is aiming to repeat its performance from last season and to once again be the champion. The quest for the title starts from Stara Zagora and the head coach Marjan Ilievski will be able to see how his team will handle the first test of the new campaign. Sigal has signed a lot of foreign players that bring a lot of experience. Names like Khalid El-Amin, Cheikh Fall, Mohamen Abukar and Stanimir Marinov make them the favourites in BIBL but there are a lot of other teams that will try to take away the title. Of course Dardan Berisha will be missed and the main challenge for the team will be to find its new leader.
