Domestic leagues: Great victory for Beroe, Levski 2014 holds on at home

BC Beroe recorded an important win in Bulgarian league. In a 6th round game the team visited Spartak in Pleven and took 93-74 victory after a very good shooting display. The team scored 14 triples in the game and 61 points in the first half which helped them biuld a big lead.   Ashton Moore and Evrik Gary were the top scorers for the win with 24 and 23 points respectively.      Levski 2014 also had a winning round after 87-79 over Academic Plovdiv. The Blues had a 16 points advantage in the second quarter and controlled the game. However a 10-0 run for Academic brought the deficit to 6 but the hosts held on.   Pavel Ivanov had 30 points for the winners while Hristo Nikolov added 23 and 13 rebounds. The team was without Aleks Simeonov and Ilija Milutinovic who have some injury problems.   After six rounds Beroe is tied for second place with four three other teams with 4-2 record while Levski 2014 is 7th with 2 wins and 4 defeats.
