Levski 2014 trying to keep the chances alive
BC Levski 2014 will host KB Peja in Sofia tonight in the penultimate round of group B in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The game is very important for The Blues, who still have a chance to qualify, and in the same time not so much for Peja as they have already secured the first place in group. The match will start at 18.00 hrs local time (17.00 CET) and will be broadcast LIVE on BNT World, RTV 21 and Sportmedia.tv.
BC Levski is a team that relies only on local Bulgarian players. They have lost four straight in the league after winning the first two at home. The Blues will try to keep their perfect home record which will give them a chance to qualify directly for the Second Stage. For that to happen Levski needs to defeat Peja tonight and then Teodo by at least 12 points next week. This is why Stanislav Slaveykov, Aleks Simeonov and the others will give their best and try do hand Peja′s first loss since the Opening day of the season.
As we mentioned Peja already secured the first place in the group. However there is no doubt the team will try to win in Sofia and continue their winning streak. The Yellows rely a lot on their starting five - Nenad Delic, Ronald Davis, Kevin Burwell, Alban Veseli and Drilon Hajrizi who are all performing very well and can compete with anybody. Still Peja is yet to play in the new year and they may need some time to shake up in the early minutes.
