Domestic leagues: Mornar won the derby in Tivat, Lovcen defeated

KK Mornar continued its great run of win in the Montenegrin league. The team from Bar defeated Teodo 71-65 away in the derby game of this round in the league. With that victory Mornar keeps the perfect record with 14 wins from 14 games while Teodo is still second with 12-3.

It was an even game that had to be decided in the final quarter. It started better for Mornar who led by 1 after 30 minutes but in the middle of the fourth went up by 11. It was the decisive moment for the visitors who after that kept their lead.

Mihailo Radunovic finished with 16 points for the win while Balsa Radunovic added 11. For the home side Manuel Johnson finished with 16 ponits as Masan Vrbica had 10 and 14 rebounds.

In another game this round Lovcen suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of last placed Studentski centar. The home side won 75-69 but despite that Lovcen remain third with 8-7 record.

The home side was leading for most of the time but the game was close. In the fourth quarter however they hit two straight triples to go up by 12 which decided the outcome. Lovcen followed with 8-0 run but they only managed to cut the deficit. 

Petar Jovanovic had 19 points and 7 assists for the team from Cetinje as Vasilije Knezevic added 17 points.
