Big win for Sigal Prishtina over Beroe

KB Sigal Prishtina finished in style the First Stage in the Balkan League. The champions crushed BC Beroe 79-56 at home to finish in second in group A with 4-2 record. Beroe on the other side finished last with 1-5 record and will play in the Qualification Round for Top 8. 

The first half was an even one with both teams changing leads and being close to each other. In the final two minutes of it however the visitors made some mistakes from which Sigal took full advantage. The hosts finished the half on 8-0 run to take 11-point lead and after starting with 7-0 after the break, it reached 18.  Soon after that Sigal′s lead became even higher and until the end the hosts had no problems. In the last quarter the visitors cut some of the deficit but it was too much before that.

Jason Washburn had another good game for Sigal Prishtina and finished with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. Mohamed Abukar added 19 points while Dardan Berisha had 17 and 6 assists.

Evrik Gary had 17 points and 5 rebounds for the visitors as Tencho Tenchev scored 14 coming off the bench.
