BC Levski 2014 and KK Lovcen Basket square off for a place in Top 8

BC Levski 2014 and KK Lovcen Basket will meet tonight in a very important clash from the Qualification Round for Top 8 in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The match starts at 18.00 hrs in Samokov and will be broadcast LIVE on BNT World, BNT HD and Sportmedia.tv.

It′s all or nothing for Levski as this is The Blues last chance to qualify. They lost to Beroe yesterday and another defeat will send them home without having the possibility to continue in the competition. Levski started bad against Beroe but imrpoved in the second half which gives them hope for tonight′s match. Yesterday′s team top performer was Stanislav Slaveykov who is also the most experienced in the team. Today he′ll have to step up again and lead his teammates in that important clash. He, Aleks Simeonov and Ventsislav Petkov have to be the leaders of the team and there are also some expectations that veteran Dimitar Anguelov will go out on the court to help his younger teammates. 

Lovcen is also a young team having some experienced players. They are led by Petar Jovanovic who is averaging 11.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in BIBL and he is helped by Mikaile Tmusic with 10.2 points and Sreten Knezevic with 10.0. Lovcen relies also on the size of Milic and Petric who can turn that in to their advantage and use it against Levski. Generally Lovcen will rely on the energy of its young players and the experience of Jovanovic. The same case is valid for Levski as well so there is no doubt it will be an interesting encounter and a big fight until the final buzzer.
