Marjan Ilievski is the new head coach of Kozuv

Marjan Ilievski is the new head coach of Kozuv. The Macedonian was appointed yesterday evening after the team from Gevgelija lost at home to Sigal Prishtina. Following the defeat Stratos Koukoulekidis was fired and replaced with Ilievski.

The interesting fact is that Ilievski started the season in Sigal Prishtina but left the team just before New Year. He led the team from Kosovo to the title in the Balkan League last season and also to the title in the local championship. That gave him the chance to continue but later he and Sigal decided to split ways.

Now Ilievski will try to bring success in Gevgelija as well. The team will try to reach the 1/2 finals in the Balkan League for second year in a row despite yesterday′s defeat. Kozuv will also host the Macedonian Cup starting in two weeks time and that will also be a big opportunity for the team and its new head coach.
