Teodo faces Mornar in the Montenegrin derby

The only match in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League this week sees the two remaining Montenegro teams facing each other. At 18.00 hrs local time KK Teodo will host KK Mornar in a very important clash from group C. It will be broadcast LIVE on Sportmedia.tv.

Teodo has a chance to make a huge step towards the semifinals with a win tonight. The team from Tivat is leader of the group with 2 wins from 2 games and a third one will put them as strong favourites to advance. Teodo will again rely on the experience in the roster in the likes of Nikola Vucurovic, Milos Djurisic and captain Srdjan Subotic. Guards Masan Vrbica and Aaron Mitchell are having good season and the question is whether Manuel Johnson will be ready as he left injured last week′s game against Beroe. Without doubt Teodo will fight hard to get this win which will be first against Mornar this season.

Mornar on the other side has 1-1 record after two home games in the Second Stage. The team was surprised by Beroe at home and now needs to win away in order to restore the balance. There is no better place for them to do that than in Tivat and the players of Djordjije Pavicevic will give their best to do so. The new signings - Lamont Jones and Robert Sampson played well last week and they should improve with each game. Balsa Radunovic is a constant threat and the same goes for Teodo′s former star Marko Mijovic. Mornar′s advantage is in the deep roster as the coaches usually use 10 or even 11 players. The guests will also try hard to win and we should expect more than entertaining derby.
