Domestic cups: Levski 2014 fought hard but lost to Lukoil

BC Levski 2014 went out in the quarterfinals of Bulgarian Cup. The Blues met the champions Lukoil Academic and fought very hard before losing 72-88. 

Levski played a great first half and after making 12 triples took 11-point lead. The Blues were playing with great enthusiasm, were scoring the ball from long range and that reflected on the scoreboard. In the second half however Lukoil changed gears and their defense improved a lot. Thanks to it they kept Levski to only 20 points for 20 minutes which proved to be enough for the win.

Aleks Simeonov had double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Stanislav Slaveykov added 15 and 8. Yordan Minchev also had a good game finishing with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
