Domestic cups: Kozuv comes short against the champions

KK Kozuv lost the semifinal of the Cup of Macedonia which the team hosted in Gevgelija. Kozuv played the champions MZT Skopje and fought hard before losing 62-72. 

MZT started better and took 8-0 lead but the hosts fought back and took 7-point advantage in the second quarter. At the break they were up by 1 but the champions started the second half with 12-0 run. Then Kozuv started good the fourth one and closed the gap to just a point. MZT reacted and again increased the advantage as in the final minutes the hosts didn′t have power to come back again.

Brandon Penn had 21 points for Kozuv as Aleksej Nesovic added 18.
