Sigal Prishtina hosts Peja in the Kosovo derby

KB Sigal Prishtina will host KB Peja tonight in the big Kosovo derby from group D in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The match will start at 19.00 hrs local time and will be LIVE on SuperSport and Sportmedia.tv.

Sigal are on a roll and have won their first two games in the Second Stage. The champions have found a new rhythm since the new year and still they are without a loss. They defeated Peja twice - in the local league and in a dramatic Cup final, which for sure will give them an advantage before tonight′s game. Dardan Berisha and Mohamed Abukar are a constant threat for each time and in recent weeks Jason Washburn and Willie Kemp have also played very well. Sigal will of course rely also on the support of its fans who for sure will fill the gym.

This match is extremely important for Peja because of the loss to Levski in the first round. The Yellows now need to win away against Sigal or Kozuv in order to erase it or otherwise their chances of going to the semifinals will become very slim. Again Peja will count on Drilon Hajrizi who is in top form all season and he will need to receive support from Nenad Delic, Nick Covington, Ronald Davis and Kevin Burwell. Those are the players that Peja will rely mostly on and that will have to silence the crowd in Prishtina in order to have a chance to win.
