Lubomir Minchev: I just want my team to play good

BC Beroe surprised a lot of people by reaching the semifinals of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. Tomorrow the team will host KB Sigal Prishtina in a first leg of the semifinals and this is what head coach Lubomir Minchev had to say before the contest:

"There is no pressure in our team. I think our performance in the competition so far has been very positive and we have achieved a very good result. For sure we are looking for the maximum and we′ll try to go even further. Given the fact we were not considered favourites before the start of the campaign, there′s no pressure in our team which there is usually in so called favourite teams.

We had two very different games against Sigal earlier in the season. We had one good match in the beginning and we even missed a chance to win in Stara Zagora. Then in Prishtina we played bad especially in the second half. However both teams are not the same since then, especially them. They made a lot of changes and also had a new coach. I think they have players who have more class and have more experience which is their biggest advantage.

The first thing I would like from my team is to just play good because this is the only way we can make something. We need to play well in order to have hopes to win. We can′t allow to play weak and based on our class and potential to win the match."
