Domestic leagues: 5 in a row for Beroe, tough loss for Levski 2014

BC Beroe recorded another win in Bulgarian league. The team from Stara Zagora had its 5th in a row after downing Cherno more 80-60 at home. It was a tough first half for the hosts who were down by 7. In the second though they started with 12-2 run and never looked back.

 

Stanislav Vaklinov had 16 points for the win as 14 and 5 rebounds added Ashton Moore.

 

In the same time Levski 2014′s run of three straight wins came to an end after losing heavily to Rilski Sportist 74-108 away. The home side led early after scoring the first 11 points and after 17-0 run in the second they went up to lead by 34 which was more than enough until the end.

 

Aleks Simeonov had 21 points for Levski as Stanislav Slaveykov added 15 and 6 rebounds.

 

Beroe is still third in the standings with 17 wins and 6 defeats while Levski is 7th with 9-14 record.
