Sigal Prishtina going for second straight final, Beroe for the miracle

The second and last semifinal of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League is about to be played tonight. At 19.30 hrs local time the champions KB Sigal Prishtina will host BC Beroe. The match will be LIVE on SuperSport, BNT HD and Sportmedia.tv.

Sigal is heavy favourite to reach the final for second straight year as the team is carrying 14-point lead after the first game. This is why their task is easier and they only have to confirm what they did a week ago. Beroe on the other side is in need of a small miracle. There′s no doubt the team from Stara Zagora will fight from the tip-off but it will be very difficult to pull off an upset in Prishtina.

Sigal again is relying on the experience and the quality players in the roster. Mohamed Abukar and Jason Washburn dominated under the basket in the first game and it′s an advantage the hosts will try to use it again. Of course they have also Dardan Berisha, Willie Kemp and Andrew Warren who are doing well in the backcourt and are also a serious threat for the opponent.

Beroe will be missing Auston Barnes who is out with injury. Tencho Tenchev is also questionable which shortens the rotation Lubomir Minchev is using. However one thing is certain - his team will fight and count on Aleksandar Todorovic, Evrik Gary, Ashton Moore, Tihomir Zhelev and Stanislav Vaklinov. However it will be very difficult for them in Prishina but if the 3-pointers start falling, then the visitors might make it a game.
