KB Bashkimi to play in BIBL for second year in a row

KB Bashkimi will be a part of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League for second season in a row. The team from Prizren sent all the necessary documents so now the registration is complete. The Kosovo basketball federation also confirmed Bashkimi′s participation in the competition.

Bashkimi had a good first season in the Balkan League as the team reached the Top 8. In it they also performed well but missed some chances to win games at the end. With 1-5 record Bashkimi finished fourth in group C but nevertheless left good impressions with its performance.

Bashkimi also performed well in Kosovo. The team lost to Sigal Prishtina in the semifinals of the Cup after giving the hosts of the Final 4 and eventual winners a very very hard time. Then both teams met again in the semifinals of the league and again Sigal Prishtina was triumphant.

Now the management of the club will start completing the roster for the new season and will first look to appoint a new head coach.
