It′s time

The season 2016/2017 of SIGAL-UNIQA is about to start. Tonight SK Tirana will host KB Trepca in the Albanian capital in the Opening game of the 9th campaign of the competition.

Those team are two of the debutants in the tournament. So this is why it will be very interesting to see them as for sure they are going to fight hard to start with a victory.

Tirana has added some foreign players who have experience in BIBL. Manuel Johnson, Griffin Ramme and Nemanja Gavranic will have to step up and lead their teammates who lack the international games they have. There′s no doubt that Tirana will try hard and it remains to be seen what that will be enough for. 

Trepca is also a new team that will rely on its foreigners. The Mitrovica team is hoping to get one over their rivals and debut with a precious away victory. Montreal Scott, Frederic Stutz and Jeremy Wise are the Americans in the roster while they have also Mise Diminic and Nikola Ljujic who bring more options to the coach Neven Plantak. Those are the players Trepca will rely mostly on as well as on Samir Zekiqi who has to prove himself as he will have the chances. We know that we can expect fight from the Mitrovica team and that should give us an interesting game.
