Four games wrap up the first week of action

The schedule of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League gives us four games today which will wrap up the first week of action in the competition. 

At first Beroe will welcome the champions KB Sigal Prishtina at home. It′s a repeat of last season′s start as both teams met again in Stara Zagora. 12 month ago the Kosovo team won but now the rosters have changed and we′ll have to see how this will unfold and what is going to happen. BNT World and DigitAlb/SuperSport will broadcast the match LIVE on TV.

In Gevgelija KK Kozuv will host KB Bashkimi in another Group A game. Here as well there are a lot of changes in the roster while the team from Gevgelija even has a new management. Both sides however will be eager to start with a win and will be hoping to do so. There′s no doubt they will fight until the end they should provide an interesting battle. Bashkimi already started the season in the local league by beating Sigal Prishtina so the team will enter this match with the needed confindence.

In the same time in Skopje KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 will make its debut in the competition. The Macedonian vice-champions host KK Sutjeska which returns to BIBL after one year of absence. This is another game we are expecting with interest as both sides have their quality players. Karpos will try to debut with a victory but the same goes for the players from Niksic who will try to steal something from the Macedonian capital.

DigitAlb/SuperSport will broadcast the last game of the first week which sees KB Peja hosting MKK Feni Industries. The home side has a new coach - Aleksandar Todorov, who brought a lot of new players to the roster. The team′s ambitions are very big and we′ll see what they′ll show tonight. Feni returns to the competition after four years as the team was one of the most successful in the first seasons of BIBL. The Kavadarci side has some young Macedonian players and some experienced ones as well so it′ll be interesting to watch them not only in this match but throughout the season as well.
