Marjan Srbinovski, head coach of KK Kumanovo 2009: "It was a very hard game, the first one is always like that. We started very bad, the players lacked discipline and I don′t know the reason for that. We have a lot of things to correct but it′s still good to win even when playing bad. It′s the wins that count while we have 7-8 days before the next game to improve our performance."

Aleksandar Kostoski, player of KK Kumanovo 2009: "Given the fact that we didn′t have any information about our opponent, and it was first game in front of our fans which is always hard, I′m happy that at the end we won. We have a lot of things to correct, we have some new players who have to adapt and we′ll work on that. It′s important that we get the win and start well in BIBL."

Miodrag Kadija, head coach of KK Teodo: "We played in front of a great atmosphere. Kumanovo is a good team although we had our chances in this game but didn′t use them. I congratulate Kumanovo and also my players for the fighting spirit and desire they played with. We have a lot of youngsters and we want to develop them which interests us the most."

Milos Djurisic, player of KK Teodo: "I congratulate Kumanovo for the deserved win. We fought for 40 minutes despite having problems with injured players but still did well. At the end we saw that some of the young players lack experience but this is normal and they will learn."
