KK Sutjeska started the new season with a convincing away win over KK Karpos Sokoli 2000. Here is what both head coaches had to say after the game was over: 

Sinisa Matic, head coach of KK Karpos Sokoli 2000: "It was our fifth game in the last ten days and we wanted to give more playing minutes to the younger guys in the team. Also we rested Kendrick Perry and Dragan Labovic as we have a tough schedule ahead of us. I′m pleased with the performance of the youngsters. It′s important for us to develop them well this season so we can have more power in the period in front of us."

Milos Kovac, head coach of KK Sutjeska: "I′m very pleased with the result in this game against such a quality team. We are aware that they missed two key players but this win is a big plus for our motivation in the game ahead of us. We still have a lot of things to practice and to get better in. We won by a big difference but there are a lot of things that should become better. It′s a very important win for us."
