Domestic leagues: Easy beginning for Beroe

BC Beroe started the new season in Bulgarian league with an easy victory. The team from Stara Zagora hosted Cherno more and led from start to finish to win 79-64.

 

A good second quarter gave Beroe 16-point edge after 20 minutes. After the break the visitors tried to change something but the home side had response to everything and cruised on for the win.

 

Shane Gibson had a good game for Beroe finishing with 17 points. Tencho Tenchev added 14 points and 5 rebounds while Aaron Jones and Stjepan Tesija scored 13 points apiece.
