BIBL returned to Kavadarci and Feni won big
After more than four years Kavadarci again hosted a Balkan League game. Tonight MKK Feni Industries hosted SK Tirana in Round 2 of group B and won convincingly 98-57. The home side led from the start but managed to build the big advantage in the second half. After this game both teams now stand at 1 win apiece. Next week Feni will host Trepca while Tirana will visit Sutjeska.
The hosts started well and quickly took a 12-3 lead. Tirana responded with 8-0 run but never took the lead. Feni again pulled away and increased the advantage to 11 and early in the second quarter to 17. Tirana again managed to comeback to the game and at the break was down by only 8 points. Shortly after the start of the second half Feni increased the advantage and then had no trouble. The hosts quickly build a big advantage after a 14-3 start and never looked back after.
The hosts hit 12 triples compared to only 4 by the visitors which proved to be an important difference.
Top scorer for the winners was George Sharabidze who scored 16 points. Boban Stajikj had 15 points while Kiril Nikolovski added 14.
Manuel Johnson was above all in Tirana with his 19 points while Endrit Hysenagolli added 11.
