BC Beroe recorded its third straight win in group A of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team defeated KB Bashkimi at home and continues to have a perfect record. Here is what both head coaches had to say after the match was over:
Lubomir Minchev, head coach of BC Beroe: "I′m happy that we won. It was a really important game and we didn′t make a mistake at home. The game wasn′t very pretty as the opponent was playing aggressive defense. We made a lot of mistakes and they did too. Also the shooting percentage was very low but still I′m happy with the win."
Dragan Radovic, head coach of KB Bashkimi: "I would like to congratulate Beroe for the success. We have very little options and too short rotation at positions 4 and 5 which turned out to be decisive. Beroe kept good rhythm for all the game and at the end we lost some easy balls and it decided the game. I can′t be happy after we lost but we′ll try to improve and to be at a different level at the next game."
