Domestic leagues: Beroe survived for a first away win

BC Beroe recorded its first away win of the season in Bulgaria. The team from Stara Zagora visited Spartak Pleven and had a hard time before winning 81-75. After four rounds Beroe is tied for second place with 3-1 record.

 

Spartak started the game on a 12-2 run but soon Beroe came back. The visitors led for most of the time but the two teams were close. However Spartak took a 9-point advantage early in the fourth before with 90 seconds to go Beroe hit back to go up by 1. In the final moments of the game Gibson hit a triple, then added a basket and led his team to the win.

 

Shane Gibson was the top scorer for 22 points while Stjepan Tesija had 17 and 11 rebounds.
