SK Tirana adds size and experience to the roster

SK Tirana added an important piece to the roster for its quest of reaching the Second Stage in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team from Albanian capital signed Gerti Shima who will bring size and experience to the squad.

Shima joins from KB Sigal Prishtina where he started the season. The Albanian had four games in Kosovo league this season averaging 13.3 minutes with 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds. He also played in two FIBA Europe Cup matches and in the first for SIGAL in BIIBL.

Shima however has plenty of experience playing in the Balkan League. He had two seasons with Peja aand then in the last one had 6 games with Bashkimi. Shima is returning to Tirana after starting his career in this team as a youngster 14 years ago.
