Kumanovo and Beroe square off in a battle for the first place

KK Kumanovo 2009 will host tonight BC Beroe in another interesting an important game from Group A. The match will start at 19.00 hrs local time and will be broadcast LIVE on SportMedia.tv.

This contest will be a direct battle for the first place. At the moment Kumanovo has 3 wins and no defeat while Beroe is with a 3-1 record. This means that the winner tonight will take the first position in the middle of the First Stage and is what is making the game so important.

Kumanovo has so far won twice at home but both times it was hard as the team had to do it in the final two minutes. Still it′s important that the team is winning and this is what it counts. Aleksandar Kostoski, Danilo Mijatovic and Stefan Zivanovic are performing well and they will be the leaders of the team tonight. Then we have also the experience of Janeski, Pekovic and Karadjovski which makes Kumanovo a tough team to play especially in the team′s gym and with the atmosphere there.

Beroe started the season very well but last week the team played poor defense and lost for the first time. This is something head coach Minchev will look to tonight and he will hope that things will change. Beroe has the top scorer of the competition with Shane Gibson so his role tonight has to be important. Stjepan Tesija is also performing well and Beroe will count also on Plamen Aleksiev and Tihomir Zhelev to play good. They will have to share the point guard position as Juraj Segaric is still injured.

We have to be sure that tonight both teams will play hard, will compete and will give everything to win. This is what the fans will like from them is something worth watching.
