SK Tirana recorded its first away win in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team from the Albanian capital visited KB Trepca and took a very important 74-68 victory. The game was very intense and interesting as both teams fought very hard from start to finish. The match was decided in the final two minutes when the visiting team scored when it mattered while the hosts didn′t play good in offense. After that result both teams are tied in the standings with 2-3 record as Tirana′s both wins are against Trepca and the team has the advantage. Next week Tirana will host KB Peja while on December 7th Trepca will visit Karpos Sokoli.

It was a very even first quarter with Tirana taking the early lead but Trepca coming back quickly. After that the teams exchanged points and were tied after ten minutes. The second period though the visitors went on a 7-0 run to start it and held on to the lead until the middle of it. After a Scott triple Trepca went up by 2 points but immediately Tirana made 13-0 go take a 9-point lead and then 6 at the break.

Tirana played a very good third quarter and the team′s advantage was never in doubt. The visitors led by double digits for most of the time and were up by 10 after 30 minutes. A 7-0 start of the fourth period cut the hosts deficit to just 3 but Tirana was still holding on. However with another 7-0 run Trepca took a single points advantage after a Scott triple but moments later Ramme hit one of his own. With 1:33 to go Johnson made it a 5-points game and the Wise missed for the hosts. In the next offense Ramme was fouled and he made the first throw but missed the second. The American though grabbed the rebound and scored to seal the outcome.

Manuel Johnson was the top scorer for the winners with 21 points. Endrit Hysenagolli did very well with 17 points and 12 rebounds while Erkand Karaj also had 17 points.

Montreal Scott had 19 points for Trepca as Frederic Stutz added 16.
