Domestic leagues: Beroe goes alone in second position

BC Beroe moved alone to second position in Bulgarian league. The Stara Zagora team defeated Academic Plovdiv 82-75 at home and with 5-2 record put behind its opponent and Rilski Sportist.

The match started with a 13-3 run for Beroe who lead for a long time. The difference was very good but with a 14-2 run Academic closed to just 4 points. In the last 30 seconds however Beroe managed to held on and won.

Shane Gibson and Aaron Jones had 18 points for the victory as Tihomir Zhelev added 13.
