Domestic leagues: Peja wins the derby of the week, easy for Bashkimi and Sigal

KB Peja won the derby game of the round in Kosovo league. The Yellows hosted KB Trepca and took 74-57 victory after a very good second half. At the break the visitors from Mitrovica led by 9-points but after a strong third period Peja went up by 4 after 30 minutes. In the final 10 the hosts continued to play great defense and took the win.

Cameron Rundles scored 21 points for the victory as Alban Veseli added 20. Jeremy Wise and Nikola Ljujic scored 13 apiece for Trepca but the team missed Mise Diminic and Frederic Stutz which turned out to be costly.

KB Bashkimi visited Vllaznimi and recorded an easy 94-72 win. The Prizren team didn′t have any problems, built a big advantage early and cruised on for another victory.

Ermin Jazvin was the top performer for the winners with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Eric Palm added 16 points and 6 assists while Qendrim Biraj had 13 and 5.

KB Sigal Prishtina had a good training against Kerasan Prishtina winning 140-82. The champions had no problems and the game was only a formality.

Jabarie Hinds had 25 points and 5 assists for the win as Granit Rugova and Drilon Hajrizi added 24 apiece.

Bashkimi is the current leader in the standings with 8 wins and 1 defeat but have a game more than Peja who has 7-1. Sigal Prishtina comes in third with 7 wins and 2 defeats while Trepca is sitting fourth with 6-4 record.
