Big first half lifts Feni for a win in Tirana
MKK Feni Industries recorded its first away win this season. The team from Kavadarci visited SK Tirana and took 72-63 victory after a great performance in the first half. The team took a big lead after 20 minutes and had enough power to held on to it. After this round Feni is tied for the first place with 4 wins and 2 defeats while Tirana is third with 3-4 record. Next week Feni will visit Trepca while Tirana will host Sutjeska.
A fantastic start gave the visitors a large lead from the first minutes. The team scored the first ten points of the match and not only but after finishing the first quarter on an 8-0 run went up by 19. The visitors kept leading in the second period and increased the advantage to 28 points in the middle of it and at the break it was 26.
Things changed in the second half as Tirana was trying to close the gap. The hosts managed to do so but without really posing any real threat to Feni. The advantage went down but generally the visitors were controlling the game and didn′t have any trouble to finish it.
Branislav Djekic had a nice first game for Feni in BIBL and finished with 15 points. Matija Ceshkovic did well with his 14 points as Kiril Nikolovski added 12.
The top scorer in the game was Gerti Shima with 20 points for the home team as Griffin Ramme added 15.
